Michael R. Adams, L.C.S.W.

Mr. Adams received his Bachelor's of Arts degree from Colgate University and his Master's of Social Work from Arizona State University. Mr. Adams is a licensed social worker with more than 35 years of experience as a clinician and administrator of addiction and mental health programs. Currently, Mr. Adams serves as the Vice President of Clinical Operations for Solutions Recovery, Inc., a residential based treatment center for chemical dependency. Mr. Adams has also served on numerous boards and committees for public and private organizations, advocating for addictions treatment and mental health services. Mr. Adams is a competitive volleyball player, competing on local and national levels.

Steven Evans, M.D., vice president of medical affairs and pharmacy director for Health Plan of Nevada and Sierra Health and Life, is a board-certified anesthesiologist with an active anesthesia practice in Las Vegas.

 

Christopher Fleming

Mr. Christopher Fleming is the Solutions Manager for Sprint and is responsible for business and government clients in Las Vegas. Mr. Fleming received two bachelors of Engineer degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Mr. Fleming has been a resident of Las Vegas for 9 years and is active in the local community. Mr. Fleming  enjoys contributing his time to charitable causes.

Dominic Gentile


Dominic Gentile recently left a high-profile private practice at Gentile DePalma for one of the state's oldest law firms, Gordon & Silver. In the nearly 30 years Gentile has practiced law in Las Vegas, he has created a name for himself as a tough criminal defense attorney, specializing in white-collar crime, First Amendment law and homicide. Gentile is more than a keen litigator. He is deeply involved in ethics debates and has taught in law schools around the country, including the Boyd School of Law. Born in Chicago and educated at Depaul University (both his bachelor's and law degrees), Gentile spent two years as an associate dean of the National College of Criminal Defense Lawyers and Public Defenders in Houston before making Las Vegas his home.

 

Jeffrey B. Iverson

Mr. Jeffrey B. Iverson serves as general manager of Las Vegas-based Presidential Limousine, one of the largest privately owned limousine companies in the nation. Previously, Iverson gained valuable administrative management experience while working at Lawrence / Kreeft & Associates as Administrator, where he oversaw the daily operations of the insurance firm. Mr. Iverson has also served as executive assistant to the vice chairman of WMA Securities, assisting in planning company events and processing new agents. Mr. Iverson also performed branch compliance audits and collaborated with branch managers to train new financial services representatives.
A native Las Vegan, Mr. Iverson graduated from Las Vegas High School in 1992. Dedicated to giving back to his community, he has donated his free time to HELP of Southern Nevada by serving as a past board member. Currently, Mr. Iverson is focusing his attention on helping recovering drug users the recovery community by serving as a Board member of The Solutions Foundation.

 

Todd Lefkowitz

VP, Managed Care IASIS Healthcare

Todd E. Lefkowitz joined IASIS Healthcare in June of 2006 and currently serves as their Corporate Vice President of Managed Care.  Mr. Lefkowitz also spent 2002 with IASIS Healthcare in Arizona where he served as Regional Director of Managed Care. Additionally, Mr. Lefkowitz is the President/CEO of Managed Healthcare Consultants, Inc., a healthcare consulting and project management firm.  He has held this position since incorporating the organization in January of 2003. Prior to IASIS, Mr. Lefkowitz worked with United Healthcare and PacifiCare Health Systems where he served as the Vice President of Network Management for both organizations in Nevada as well as the Director of Network Management and Development for PacifiCare’s Desert Region (Nevada/Arizona).  Mr. Lefkowitz currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Lied Discovery Children’s Museum and is a Director of the Nevada Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill and a Masters of Health Administration degree from Medical College of Virginia, where he was awarded the 1997 Caldwell Leadership Award.  Mr. Lefkowitz is married to Catherine A. Prato-Lefkowitz.  His hobbies include weight training, cooking and international travel. 

 

David M. Marlon

President and Chairman of the Board

Mr. Marlon received his Bachelor's of Arts degree in Economics from the State University of New York and his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Mr. Marlon is an H.I.A.A. Fellow and maintains his accident, health, property, and casualty licensures in Arizona, California, Nevada, Texas, and Utah. Mr. Marlon has 19 years of healthcare industry experience, served as Vice President Western Region, operations, Sierra Health Services Inc and is the current President to Solutions Recovery, Inc., a residential treatment facility which provides treatment to adults suffering with alcohol or drug addictions. Mr. Marlon oversees all aspects of business operations for Solutions Recovery, Inc. including, business development and corporate management, among other duties. Mr. Marlon has a strong desire to help others recover from their addictions and regain control of their lives.

 

Tom McLaughlin

Branch Operations Manager

Southern Idaho / Nevada

Tom McLaughlin, C.D.M.S. joined GENEX Services in March 2004 as a Branch Manager of Operations.  Mr. McLaughlin is currently the Branch Operations Manager for Southern Idaho Nevada.  For two years, he was also the Branch Operations Manger in Arizona where he was able to re-establish GENEX Services, Inc. in the state. Mr. McLaughlin came to GENEX from Sierra Health & Life Insurance Co., Inc where he was the Director of Disability Management.  He has been involved in the Workers’ Compensation / Disability Management industry since 1992.   He received a B.A. in Psychology from UNLV and is a Certified Disability Management Specialist. Mr. McLaughlin started his education at Ohio State University and completed his studies at UNLV.  He has previously been on the board of directors for the Gay and Lesbian Community Center where he served as both Treasurer and President. Mr. McLaughlin was born and raised in Highland Ht’s Ohio and has been a resident of Las Vegas Nevada since 1986.  He has been residing with his partner in Henderson for the past 15 years.     To balance his life, he plays tennis and goes sailing as often as his time, and the wind, permits.

 


Kimberly Miller

Treasurer

Mrs. Miller has 8 years experience in the financial field.  Mrs. Miller was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada and has a burning desire to help people in her community.  She has provided volunteer work to many organizations in the Las Vegas community including The Stay In School Mentoring Project, Saint Vincent Homeless Shelter, Alzheimer’s Association and The Crystal Darkness Campaign to name a few.  Mrs. Miller is currently employed at Solutions Recovery, Inc. as the Chief Financial Officer with job duties including but not limited to directing the organization’s financial goals, objectives and budgets, supervising cash management activities including daily monitoring of financial statements and all banking transactions and processing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Mrs. Miller is also directly responsible for all financial policies and procedures. Mrs. Miller enjoys spending time with her family as well as running.

 

Michael Nigro

Mike Nigro is co-owner and partner of Nigro Development LLC, Nigro Construction Inc. and Nigro Properties. Nigro Development, with its affiliates, specializes in developing, constructing and managing commercial real estate. In his current role, Mr. Nigro oversees all areas of commercial real estate design, development and construction for a variety of retail, professional and flex office/industrial developments. Mr. Nigro formed Nigro Development, Nigro Construction Inc. and Nigro Properties with his brother, Todd Nigro, in 2000. Prior to that, he served as director of construction for Nigro Associates, a commercial and residential development company founded by his father, Edward Nigro, in 1979. Nigro Construction’s current major projects include: Desert Canyon Business Park, a 15-acre, mixed-use business center in Las Vegas; Park Central Plaza, a 200,000 square-foot retail center in North Las Vegas; The Place at Seven Hills, an eight-acre mixed-use hotel and retail development in Henderson; Horizon Village Square, a 100,000 square-foot shopping center in Henderson; Remedy’s Tavern, a 5,500 square-foot neighborhood tavern and restaurant in Henderson and Siena Suites Phase II, a 600-room, extended-stay hotel in Las Vegas, for which Nigro Construction Inc. is responsible for all the architecture, engineering, permitting, construction and installation of furnishings. Mr. Nigro is a graduate of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Las Vegas program and holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Southern California, School of Business. He is a member of the international peer networking group, Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO). Mr. Nigro also developed affordable housing in the downtown redevelopment area through a public/private partnership with the City of Las Vegas. Other involvements include the Boy Scouts of America, Junior Achievement and Habitat for Humanity.  His greatest pride comes from raising his three children.

 

Debbie Phillips

Financial Analyst, City of Las Vegas

Ms. Phillips has worked for the City of Las Vegas as a Financial Analyst for 8 years in the Finance Department and also an additional two years as a Budget Analyst for the City of Las Vegas Leisure Services Department.  Previous to working for the City of Las Vegas, Ms. Phillips was employed for the Company now called Bechtel Nevada, a contractor for the Department of Energy.  Ms. Phillips worked for Bechtel Nevada in their Finance Department for 12 years overseeing the Accounts Payable Division and then moving to a position which dealt with software implementations that required any financial data. Ms. Phillips has lived in Las Vegas since 1973 and has seen a lot of growth and change during that time. Having had personal connections to those dealing with addiction, she would like the opportunity to be a part of something that gives back to the community in this area, as it is close to her heart.

Dr. Paula Squitieri

Dr. Paula Squitieri

Dr. Paula Squitieri is a licensed clinical psychologist in Nevada. Dr. Squitieri works at Desert Willow Treatment Center, a state funded child and adolescent psychiatric hospital in southern Nevada.  She also maintains a private practice in the Summerlin area. Dr. Squitieri is the past president of the Nevada State Board of Psychological Examiners and was a professor in the Department of Counseling at UNLV.  While living in Los Angeles, Dr. Squitieri was director of an outpatient treatment drug and alcohol clinic for adolescents. Dr. Squitieri is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Nevada State Psychological Association, Mediators of Southern Nevada, and Collaborative Divorce Professionals of Southern Nevada. Dr. Squitieri is passionate about issues relating to youth and their families. The accomplishment she is most proud of is her family, especially her young daughter, Samantha Silvia.

 

Garth Winckler

Garth Winckler leads the WorldDoc Charitable, Education and Research Foundation as the President and CEO. Mr. Winckler comes to WorldDoc Inc. from the non-profit and consulting world providing organizational development, community organization and community affairs services for both non-profit organizations and corporations. Prior to joining WorldDoc's management team, Mr. Winckler was President of Garth Winckler and Associates, providing consulting services for numerous clienteles. For nearly 27 years, Mr. Winckler served in staff leadership positions for United Ways in Ohio and Nevada, spending 16 years as the President and Chief Professional Officer of the United Way of Southern Nevada. Mr. Winckler has served as an instructor for UNLV Continuing Education Division - Certificate in Non-Profit Management Program, teaching courses in strategic planning and leading the non-profit organization. Mr. Winckler also serves as a Board Member for the Nevada Community Foundation; serves as the President of the Board for the Las Vegas chapter of Community in Schools; and serves UNLV’s Greenspun College of Urban Affairs Community Advisory Board. Mr. Winckler has an undergraduate degree (BS) from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh (1968), a Masters in Urban Affairs from the University of New Hampshire (1972), a Masters of Public Administration from UNLV (1979), and a certificate in Non-Profit Management from the Harvard School of Business (1982). He was named the NSFRE Professional Fundraiser of the year in 1995, and was selected as the UNLV School of Urban Affairs Alumnus of the Year in 2000.  Mr. Winckler is also a graduate of Leadership Las Vegas.

Jodi S. Joyce

Mrs. Jodi Joyce is a 5th Grade teacher for Clark County School District and also the Director of Prevention & Education for The Solutions Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides awareness, education and treatment to members of the community regarding alcohol and drug abuse in an attempt to strengthen communities and lessen the burdens of government within the state of Nevada. Mrs. Joyce served 8 years in the United States Air Force, receiving an Achievement Medal for Meritorious Service. Mrs. Joyce is currently seeking a Masters Degree in Community Mental Health Counseling at UNLV with specialization in addictions counseling. Mrs. Joyce was born and raised in Southern California and has been a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada for 8 years. She enjoys spending time with her husband of 15 years and her two children. She enjoys playing golf, cruising, crafts, being outdoors and watching movies or shows that make her laugh.
