The Solutions Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides awareness, education and treatment to members of the community regarding alcohol and drug abuse in an attempt to strengthen communities and lessen the burdens of government within the state of Nevada. Nevada’s statistics on substance abuse and the current shortage of treatment resources has created a significant need for the services provided by The Solutions Foundation. By reaching out to uninsured and at-risk populations in Nevada, The Solutions Foundation will offer alternative methods of assistance through maximizing insurance, private pay, grants and other funding sources for treatment as well as sponsoring awareness and education programs. The Solutions Foundation will also assist in arranging for treatment through evidence based programs. The goal of this foundation’s efforts will be a reduced number of first time drug users and an increased number of individuals and families receiving treatment without having to travel out of state.
